The client asked for a logo for their preschool. They wanted to incorporate wildflowers, a redwood tree stump, needle, thread, paintbrush, pencil, and specifically, the handmade type previously used on my jacket design. I worked to incorporate everything they wanted into a cohesive design that was playful and fun. They wanted to be able to use it on their website all the way to clothing. I offered four different variations as seen below.

I was originally given the brief for a '70s-style logo that emphasized both nature and art. I went with a playful and happy design. My client hadn't yet given me a color scheme therefore I choose a color palette that I am both comfortable with as well as giving off the '70s vibe. After presenting the initial design the client came back to me with a much more specific list of wants and needs for their logo.
